About The Anchored Hearth Initiative
The Anchored Hearth Initiative was created from the belief that emotionally safe environments do not happen accidentally—they are intentionally built through grounded leadership, relational care, consistency, and trauma-ingrained practice.
We believe healing is deeply connected to the environments people live within, the relationships they experience, and the way care is carried out in everyday moments.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support residential treatment environments, helping professionals, and care teams through trauma-ingrained training, therapeutic milieu development, and emotionally safe operational practices that foster connection, regulation, dignity, and healing.
What We Mean by Trauma-Ingrained Care
To us, trauma-ingrained care means more than understanding trauma conceptually. It means embedding emotional safety, nervous-system awareness, relational presence, and compassionate leadership into the culture, communication, environments, and daily interactions that shape residential care.
It is not simply a program or intervention—it is a way of showing up.
Leadership & Experience
The Anchored Hearth Initiative was founded by Kira Molina, LCSW, LAC, a behavioral health leader with experience in residential treatment, trauma-informed implementation, therapeutic milieu development, and clinical leadership within high-acuity treatment environments.
Through years of direct clinical work, operational leadership, staff development, and trauma-informed systems implementation, the initiative was developed from a passion for helping residential environments move beyond behavior management alone and toward emotionally safe, relationally grounded care.
Our Philosophy
We believe:
Safety is the foundation of healing.
Regulation happens within relationships.
Environments impact nervous systems.
Leadership shapes culture.
Every interaction carries therapeutic potential.
At The Anchored Hearth Initiative, we are committed to helping create environments where people feel safe, seen, supported, and capable of healing.
